C1971 Seiko Bruce Lee 6139 6012
This example from September of ‘71 is amazing. The crisp and unpolished case is classic Seiko with opposing half moon lugs that appear to be joined only by the wide, polished bezel. The chronograph pushers only slightly protrude, and the crown sits nearly flush at the three o’clock position providing a clean and tight overall build.
Very honest watch with signs of use consistant with age and use - chapter ring, black chronometer subdial and gold dial all appear to be original as does the glass and case (39mm ex. crown) which hosts the correct 6139B Cal Automatic Movement. Chrono clutch engages and disengages crisply, quick set date fuction (crown push) is working perfectly. Hard to fault for the Seiko purists - a well looked after piece. Fitted on a Seiko beads of rice stainless steel bracelet. Running nicely.
