Seiko's UFO Sport Divers 6199-6400 from the late 70's offer big and bold diver styling and vintage appeal. The UFO moniker comes from the “saucer” shaped style of the case. The Diameter of the case is 43 mm. This example from July of ‘75 is an absolute beauty. It is well preserved with a black dial boasting crisp markings and white markers. The rotating inner bezel is black "count up" style that rotates freely in either direction via the crown. Lengthy polished batons make for ease of legibility, and the bright orange sweep can’t be missed. The factory circular brush finish on the case is still visible, and it’s topped with a polished edge bezel with flat black inlay. The original bracelet is a wide block style link and beefy hinges, it adds tons of vintage character.
Automatic winding movement cal.6119C is running accurately and can tell good time. Quick set day/date functions work as it should.
