Omega Seamaster was introduced by Pierce Brosnan over the role of James Bond in the movie GoldenEye in 1948.

This 1959 example has an unusual silvered dial cased in stainless steel. The model has a polished chamfered bezel and faceted lugs. The steel case does not look polished during servicing and there are some small nicks, light scuffs and scratches from wear. This vintage Omega is powered by Cal 268 Movement manual wound, 17 jewels. The crown is the original one with the Omega logo on. The screw-down case is original with back centred engraved Omega Seamaster emblem.

The dial is very clean with Arabic numerals marking the hour and outer dots for minutes. The second hand is situated at the 6 O’clock position. The watch has a non-Omega leather strap.

The watch runs and keeps good time.
