Omega was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt at the age of 23. The brand’s reputation grew fast and in 1895 the watches achieved a precision of 30 seconds a day. By the turn of the 19th century Omega was one of Switzerland’s largest watch companies with 240,000 watches produced annually and employing 800 people.

Omega Seamaster is the one of the top-range of Omega models. The f300Hz uses a special tuning fork (Stimmgabel) movement. This was based on the Bulova Accutron technology that Omega licensed.

This near new condition vintage 1970's Omega electronic f300 Hz Seamaster Chronometer plated wrist watch is an excellent example of a timeless timepiece. The watch runs very well and it is keeping good time. The movement is Cal 1250 , 12 jewels and is in excellent condition and running order. The crown is the original Omega signed crown; the dial is in a very nice condition with no marks. The date window is at the 3 o'clock position. The watch is fitted with a gold-plated bracelet and a signed Omega buckle.

I would estimate the overall cosmetic quality to be extremely good for it's age.

This watch is still completely original and in the original Omega Box.
