Bernhard H. Mayer the founder of the company originates from Pforzheim, Germany. He founded the company in 1871 and it is renowned for its Jewellery and watch making.
The Mayer brand has been part of important historical events. It was commissioned to produce the gold and silver medals given out to the winners at the Berlin Olympics in 1936.
The Mayer family is also a major player in the numismatic industry since the early 20th century. The were contracted to produce various medals and tokens for Royal Houses, central banks and governments around the world.

This collection features a special commemorative coin on the watch dial at 3 o’clock position, displaying the iconic Mayer factory building in Pforzheim Pre-World War II.

The legendary timepiece is powered by the legendary Unitas 6497-1 movement with a unique modification in a see-through case-back showcasing an automatic winding system and a specially-decorated oscillating weight featuring the Bernhard H. Mayer® 150th Anniversary logo.
The 43mm Case comes in a brushed/polished stainless streel, plated with Rose Gold.
The Black sandblasted dial is decorated with rose gold applied indexes, with “150th Anniversary Limited Edition Automatic” in white engraving above the 6 o’clock position and the gold commemorative coin at 3 o’clock position.
At the 9 o’clock position is a small second-hand indicator. Minutes and hour marker in applied rose gold and white marking finished off with a Scratchproof sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The watch finishes in a nice touch with a black crocodile printed leather strap and folding clasp buckle.
