Omega 1943 'Bumper' Automatic
This Omega 2375/1 has a very clean silver dial with black Roman numeral markers and minute indicators in the outer rim. The gold hands are typical 1940's style and above the 6o'clock position is subsidiary seconds dial. Below the 12 o'clock position is in silver the Omega symbol. Beneath the symbol is the Omega lettering and the wording automatic partially ghosted. 2375 is one of Omega's earliest automatic watch models, launched in 1943. It incorporates Omega's 28.10 RA calibre. The Omega 2375 runs on the famous 'bumper' semi-rotor that buffers on two coiled springs within the movement whilst the watch is being worn and that activates the automatic winding system. We have had the watched serviced and it is performing as it should.
The wristwatch dates to 1943.
