Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch
The Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 as a sport and racing chronograph rather than a space exploration watch. The manual winding Speedmaster Professional is the best known and longest produced Omega watch. It was worn during the first American spacewalk by astronaut walking on the moon. The Speedmaster Professional still remains the only one to be qualified by NASA for Extravehicular Activity. The Speedmaster was subject to tests under extreme conditions by NASA such as high and low temperatures, Temperature cycling in near-vacuum, Humidity, Oxygen environment, Shock, Linear acceleration, Low and high pressure, Vibration and Acoustic noise.
This Omega Speedmaster Professional (moonwatch) is one of the most iconic wristwatches. This Moonwatch features a black dial, black bezel and is mounted on a 42mm stainless still case and a stainless bracelet. It features a second sub-dial a 30 min recorder and a 12 hours recorder along with a chronoghraph hand. This stunning timepiece dates to 1989 with a 861 caliber. It is manual winding with water resistance of 50 meters.
