In 1948 Eterna created what would be its biggest contribution to the watchmaking world, the Eterna-Matic movement. The first ever movement to equip a ball bearing mounted rotor; an innovation that is now the standard of almost every automatic movement in the world. This Eterna watch is fitted with a Swiss made 1422 UD Eterna-matic movement dated to 1961. Solid 18ct gold case with hidden crown and hesalite crystal. Silver sunburst dial with applied gold and black indicators and hands. Date marker at 3 o'clock. Fitted with aftermarket black leather band.
